Mass Spectrometer Introduction
Using protein analysis technology developed over many years, we are investigating the causes of products that have caused allergic accidents and examining technical standards and evaluation methods for biomolecule-related products in NITE Biological Resource Center (NBRC). The mass spectrometers used for the analysis are introduced below.
Mass Spectrometers used for Analysis
The analysis is performed using time-of-flight mass spectrometer (TOF-MS), high performance liquid chromatograph mass spectrometer (LC/MS) and gas chromatograph mass spectrometer (GC/MS).
Time-Of-Flight Mass Spectrometer (TOF-MS)
Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption Ionization-Time-Of-Flight Mass Spectrometer (MALDI-TOF-MS)
